Spiderhouse 2908 Fruth Street This is by far my favorite. I rarely hear music I have heard before. The men sport some of the most creative facial hair in the entire city. It has one of the best patios in town. It’s the only place where I have been asked if I want the “regular chili” or the “non-vegetarian chili.”

"Initially, we wanted to shoot in Texas, around Austin, but aesthetically it didn't work for our story so we ended up in Shreveport. However, I had adapted a book years before and had written the entire script at Spider House Cafe. I found it to have the perfect vibe to be creative and write — just enough noise, quiet and comfort to keep you focused."
