$2 Shows, Inc., a charitable organization dedicated to putting on benefit concerts and events that seek to promote the musical and artistic talents of community artists, is featuring Safeplace this Thursday, March 24th, 2011 at our 13th $2 Show in Austin!

Safeplace exists to end sexual and domestic violence through safety, healing, prevention and social change. This event will feature six musical acts:

Clay Benson-7:30pm

Michael Kingcaid (from What Made Milwaukee Famous)-8:15pm

Ukemi-9:15pm

Paul Banks & the Carousels-10:15pm

PolySky-11:15pm

and DJ Rockwell 9000 spinning in between bands

There will be live art on display from over 20 local artists!

A Cut-a-Thon (Haircuts for donations) by the Paul Mitchell School!

Matthew Gutierrez from TEOproductions will be filming the event.

Sugoy Clothing, Texas 360 Catering, Paul Mitchell School, Soundcheck

Magazine, and promotional support from the Austin Undie Run

There will be a raffle with plenty of awesome

goodies donated from local Arists!

Swag bags with limited edition $2 Show Compilation Discs and other great gifts

will be FREE to the first 60 people at the door!
