What is Local Live? (If you haven't heard!) Local Live is the brain-child of KVRX and TSTV (Texas Student Television) featuring live music performed by local, touring and upcoming bands. Local Live is a co-production with 91.7 FM, Austin's only student-run radio committed to supporting independent artists, and Texas Student Television, the only FCC licensed student-run digital television station in the nation. Every Sunday at 10 PM, a local band, touring or upcoming acts perform in the studio in the KVRX studio and are be broadcast over the air at the 91.7 FM frequency, as well as on www.kvrx.org. Local Live TV features the band's performance as well as an interview and put it all together for a kick-ass 30-minute television show Fridays at 9:30pm.
